Things you can do at home.

Home fitness programmes and Independent tennis tasks will be given to you to help your child improve. The more this is done, the quicker the child will develop. Your Batchwood HPC Coach will be glad to explain to you relevant practices you can carry out together which will tie in with their current stage of learning. The drills your coach will set complement his or her lesson and fast track their improvement

Even the youngest player things can do things at home that will accelerate their progress.

- hand-eye coordination activities - lots of throwing and catching

- athletic skills - running/jumping/overarm throwing/balancing/skipping

You need to make these things as fun as possible, but at the same time try and get your child to set targets for themselves, how far can you jump?, how fast can you run?, how many skips can you do?
