LTA PCA Course
Batchwood HPC offer the following coach education assistance for the PCA qualification:
- Field placements to gain valuable practical experience alongside our coaching team
- Individualised coach education to improve coaching skills in response to feedback from the PCA tutorials
- Individual coaching to improve demos and feeding skills
- Individualised coach education training for coaches re-taking the PCA

The Performance Coach Award (PCA) provides the knowledge and practical experience required to prepare players for successful competition in international tennis.
The Performance Coach Award (PCA) is designed to train coaches to work with Performance players. All candidates must already have gained the DCA and CCA. You must have held your CCA for 12 months. In addition, you must hold an LTA Coach Licence and a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Enhanced Disclosure certificate.

The aim of the PCA is to create a culture of excellence that inspires and empowers coaches to maximise their potential and skills to provide world-class coaching practice.
The PCA course has a flexible time-scale but is designed so that all modules can be completed in a year. The minimum time is one year and the maximum is three years. The course consists of nine blocks of course time and practical coaching experience over an initial period of 12 months. It is possible to take three or four workshops in one year and the remainder in the second year or third year.
