LTA CCA Course

Batchwood HPC offer the following coach education assistance for the CCA qualification:

  • Field placements to gain valuable practical experience alongside our coaching team
  • Individualised coach education to improve coaching skills in response to feedback from the CCA tutorials
  • Individual coaching to improve demos and feeding skills 
  • Individualised coach education training for coaches re-taking the CCA

Club Coach Award

The Club Coach Award (CCA) follows the DCA. It aims to train inspiring coaches who can coach both children and adults, in the whole spectrum of the club environment.

Before you can obtain a CCA, you must first have passed the Development Coach Award (DCA) at least 12 months previously. You must also hold an LTA Coach Licence and a CRB Enhanced Disclosure certificate.

The course consists of four blocks of course time and practical coaching experience, over a four - to five - month period. Each block consists of three days of course time, together with a period of up to nine weeks of 12 hours’ practical coaching experience. Tutor contact on the course is 12 days in total.
