Batchwood is 1 of the 19 LTA High Performance Tennis Centres (HPCs) in the UK. These are crucial to the winning vision outlined in the Blueprint for British Tennis.  Batchwood has an excellent track record for producing national champions, junior grand slam competitors and top class coaches.

As of September 2008, Batchwood will have 2 elite performance programmes for talented players to apply

• Enhanced individual and squad coaching- winning player management!
• Enhanced strength & conditioning- winning physical athlete management!
• One to one winnning edge sessions- winning attitude management!
• Player planning and parent education- winning habits and goal setting!
• IT system updates and video analysis software- winning technological support!
• Tournament visits

• Leading talent id systems and tests across huge network of school links
• Leading talent development with highly qualified coaches working at the youngest age groups
• Pioneering sponsored schemes for most able children in the area
